My niece, Miss Lily (5) received this for her birthday. She loved it, also bought books and the matching dress for her that the doll was wearing. Her birthday decorations, etc. were Fancy Nancy. Madame Alexander is such a wonderful, well made doll company. This Fancy Nancy doll was well made, the clothing was cute as could be, the entire doll with dog was a hit. I would rate this doll 5 stars!! Buy it and watch a little girls heart and face light up!!!

I bought this for my granddaughter’s 7th birthday. The doll is really cute and the clothes are adorable too. My granddaughter really thought the puppy was cute. The high heels don’t stay on very well, but I guess the idea is they are her mommy’s shoes. Maybe stuffing the toe area would help. The doll appears to be high quality with the hair and features very well done.

We got this for my 3 year old daughter for her winter solstice ‘big present’ and she LOVES it.
Her favorite book is Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy so we knew the doll would be a big hit!
We originally got the 18″ one and the dog from Target. I didn’t like it as it was really big and I feel a doll that size needs to be plush. The ‘Frenchy’ dog was very cute in the bigger size but it didn’t make sense to keep it, so both went back to Target the day I ordered this.
The doll is beautiful!!!
The things I don’t like:
The shoes: The shoes she wore with this outfit in the book are ballet shoes. The scene that she wears her mom’s red pumps with the ribbons tied on is with a different outfit. Because they put her in pumps… she has that Barbie doll effect with her feet… so she will never stand up on her own.
The dog: They portrayed Frenchy here as a fluffy white dog… where in the book she’s more of a tan color… not a big deal… but it wouldn’t have been hard for them to be more accurate
We love this doll so I give it 5 stars though I think 4.5 is more like it since I am unhappy about the fact she wont stand on her own.

I purchased this doll for my granddaughter as well as the cloth one. Her mother put this one up on the shelf as a collectible and she and her sister now play with the cloth Fancy Nancy dolls.
This one is a beautiful doll, when I was a child I would have played with it and loved it dearly.
