These are such fun, classic toys. My kids (almost 1 and 3 years) both love it! It has the added bonus of being on wheels for pulling all over the house. I only wish the cord were a bit longer. I understand the fear that kids are going to hurt themselves, but if it were even an inch or two longer it would be able to reach the farthest keys. As it stands, my daughter has to really tug at it and hold it awkwardly to reach the farthest key.

Such a great toy for a little one. My 10 month old loves banging on it and the sound is not annoying. I love playing with it too. Any baby would love this toy – simple, fun, and no batteries. What more could you ask for?

Essential item for your little one’s toy box. I remember having one as a kid. I like the stick is attached to xylophone. The wheels are lame…but it works.

This xylophone is just like the one I had when I was a kid. I love giving my girls “retro” vintage toys that I played with. The sound is good, and they love the cord to pull it with. We also have the vintage pull along phone they came out with last year. Another classic. My only advice? Buy one of each of your kids so they don’t fight over them. I bought 2…and now my life is much easier =).

I bought this for my son’s first birthday, and he loves it. His older brother who is three loves it too. The only things I don’t like about it are:
1. The cord attaching the mallet is pretty short, so little hands have trouble playing all the keys.
2. The notes are not very in tune.
But, for the price, it’s a great little toy.
