   I got this for my toddler for a trip to California this spring. The handle on the pail that turns to make the sand go through was a neat idea, and a couple of older children at the park found it incredibly interesting. However, one of the pieces came off the day we got it. Then my son broke the red part of the truck off its base, so we ended up tossing the truck.

   My 2 & 4 yo’s both love this set. It’s pretty sturdy, and the pieces allow for a variety of action. The sand crank is clever & fun. It’s a fairly good value, although you can get more sand toys for the money if you get a big set at your local big box store.

   My 2 year old grandson loves this toy, and he doesn’t even have a sandbox yet. He just loves playing with the truck.

   I got this because I really wanted to get a bucket, shovels and a dump truck all at once and that is a big plus for this product. But, my daughter has never really used the sandmill – it isn’t very effective… meaning the sand doesn’t come out very easily. Also, I have a bit of an issue with the storage in that the pieces won’t go into the bucket once everything is put together. Just make sure that you don’t need a “self-storing” group of toys and otherwise it is fun. Also, very strong plastic and durable.
