These are very cute as far as pretend kitchen food goes, but I was disappointed to see that only 1 side of each block of wood was painted/labeled. And the other concern I have is that they were painted in China….not sure that’s such a good thing!

My 2-year-old granddaughter got a play kitchen with a refrigerator this holiday and she loves the fridge food. The items are quite realistic and it was worth it just to hear her say “butter” over and over. The items are usually ones stocked in her parent’s refrigerator so she was really excited. This is the only set of refrigerator food from this manufacturer. We like it so much we’d like more sets with additional items. They are quite durable and will provide years of fun for her.

This is a great set of fridge food. Been looking for a set like this but couldn’t find any other than cheap plastic ones. Good size and weight but unfortunately that is also the downsize. My 3 and 1 year old love playing with these accessories on a daily basis with their Step 2 Deluxe Kitchen but they tend to toss and drop them all over the place. They are not abusive to their toys but the pieces are on the heavy side and even though I have a rug under their toy kitchen I now have pits and dents all over my beautiful hardwood floors. Oh well what can you when you have kids. I have decided to put away these until my 1 year old is a little older.

As always melissa and doug put together a great product. My 2 1/2 yr old son, loves to play shop with these items and they are very good quality. He even plays with them like blocks, by stacking them on top of eachother. I would purcahse this item again.

My 3 year old son loves all of his food. He goes “grocery shopping” and feeds the family. Food is made of wood so very durable.
